How can I profit?

The Eclipse Training Alliance is a worldwide renowned training organization, closely cooperating with the Eclipse Foundation. We set the standards for the highest quality of training classes, course material and certificates when it comes to Eclipse-related technologies. Our certification program offers a solution for IT professionals who seek to demonstrate their expertise to the world.

How can I get certified?

The certification will be carried out in three steps:

1. Order a certification exam voucher. We will send you an e-mail containing your voucher number as well as an invoice. Your voucher number will remain inactive until the invoice is paid.
2. Within 5 workdays of payment confirmation we will activate your voucher number.
3. You can access the certification system using your e-mail address and your voucher number and start the exam at your convenience.

Are there prerequisites for taking the test?

There are no formal prerequisites for taking the exams. Anyone can order a certification exam voucher.

Which skills are required?

The exams are based on the training classes of the Eclipse Training Alliance. If you have attended the respective class you should have all necessary knowledge to pass the exam. Please be aware that attending our classes is neither a guarantee nor a mandatory prerequisite for becoming certified by us.

Who is the issuer of the certificate?

The Eclipse Training Alliance is an international network of software development firms with deep Eclipse know-how and years of experience with professional software development with Eclipse. This certificate reflects requirements of the Eclipse Training Alliance partner companies for their Eclipse developers.

What do I get if I pass the certification tests?

• Your certificate as a hard copy
• Your certificate as a PDF document

Does the certificate expire?

Your certificate is based on the current development state of Eclipse Technologies covered. Your certificate has not limitation in time though. We recommend a recertification if the Eclipse Foundation releases a major version which is relevant for your work.
